I Got Something Surprising In The Drive Thru

I haven't seen one of these 'in the wild' in a very long time...

I heard an unfamiliar 'clink' when I received my change in the drive - thru earlier today and was surprised to find the source: a 50 cent piece! Maybe it's because I mainly use credit cards, but I haven't received a 50 cent piece as change in a very, VERY long time.

It may not be a big deal to other people, but it was a pleasant surprise to days when a 50 cent piece was something you treasured getting as change from a purchase or from your mom, dad, or especially grandparents!
