No, I didn't steal it! I got it from itunes. There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the Apple Media event today (Sept. 9th). As pretty much everyone expected, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled two versions of the much anticipated iphone6, and the Apple watch. There was , however, a big surprise. U2 front man Bono made an unexpected appearance to announce the release of the band's new album, "Songs of Innocence." It's available exclusively on itunes, and it's free! There was much speculation that U2 wouldn't release a new album 'till next year. The album contains 11 new songs. The itunes editor's notes say the music harkens back to the band's formative days in Dublin, Ireland, invoking Bob Dylan, The Clash, The Ramones, and the B52's. "Songs of Innocence" goes on sale to the general public October 14th.
