I-49 Ramp Closures in Opelousas [UPDATE]

The following Ramp closures on I-49 in the Opelousas area will be closed for overlay work, joint cleaning & sealing, weather permitting.

8-22-11   Southbound Washington OFF and ON RAMP 5:00am to 4:00pm  

8-23-11   Northbound Washington OFF and ON RAMP 5:00am to 3:00pm  

8-24-11   Southbound US 167 OFF and ON RAMP 5:00am to 3:00pm

8-25-11   Northbound US 167 OFF and ON RAMP 5:00am to 2:00pm

8-26-11   Southbound US190 OFF RAMP 5:00am to 5:00pm

8-27-11   Northbound US190 OFF RAMP 5:00am to 5:00pm

Message boards will be posted to alert drivers. On the closure date drivers who normally enter or exit at Creswell Lane should use the frontage roads that run parallel with I-49 and enter or exit I-49 at Judson Walsh.  On the closure date drivers who normally enter or exit at La 103 in Washington should enter or exit at La 10 use La 10.  On the closure date drivers who normally enter or exit at U.S. 167 should enter or exit at La 103 and use La 10.  On the closure date drivers who normally enter or exit at U.S. 190 should enter or exit at Creswell Lane and use the frontage roads that run parallel with I-49.
