I-10 Mississippi River Bridge Closed in Baton Rouge [UPDATE: Now Open]

UPDATE 8:20 AM

Advisory: I-10 MS River Bridge reopened. Baton Rouge City Police advises east and westbound lanes of travel are completely open. Drivers are encouraged to remain patient and expect delays as traffic will take some time to return to normal levels.

I-10 Advisory from Louisiana State Police Troop A: AVOID Interstate 10 (east & west) at the MS River Bridge. BR Police investigating a multi-car fatality. US 190 Bridge ALT Route.

Baton Rouge City Police are investigating a multiple vehicle fatality atop the I-10 MS River Bridge. The bridge is expected to remain closed for at least two hours.

ALTERNATE ROUTE:
Exit Interstate 10 at LA 1
Take LA 1 (north) to US 190 (east)
Take US 190 (east) to Interstate 110 South.
Interstate 110 will bring you to Interstate 10 (east)
