I-10 in Lafayette Will Close at 8:30 AM Today

On Wednesday, December 26, 2012, between the hours of 8:30 am and 10:00 am, Lafayette Police will be closing I-10 East bound at North University Avenue.  I-10 traffic will be diverted onto Ambassador Caffery to West Willow Street while the roadway remains closed. Traffic investigators need to close off the highway so that engineers can safely take measurements regarding a fatal crash. Drivers should avoid the area until the roadway is re-opened.
