Public voting begins on American Idol, and KTDY wants to make it as easy as possible for you to vote for McKenzie! MacKenzie's "number" for Thursday (02/25) votes is 07, so when you vote, vote for contestant number 7 by calling (866) 436-5707 or by texting 7 to 21523.  You can vote by phone and text 10 times on each voting night.  For other ways to vote, watch the video below, but be certain to vote #7!

There are five ways you can vote for McKenzie:
(1) SuperVote® Online at www.americanidol.com/vote;
(2) SuperVote® on the FOX NOW® App;
(3) Google Search Voting; Search 'American Idol Vote'
(4) Text Vote (SMS) by texting 7 to 21523; or
(5) Toll-free Voting by calling MacKenzie's voting number:  (866) 436-5707

For each voting method, any votes above 10 per contestant will not be counted.

    (1) SuperVote® Online at www.americanidol.com/vote;

    SuperVote® Online at www.americanidol.com/vote: You can vote online after logging in with your Facebook account.

    If you don't have a Facebook account, you will need to create one before being able to vote with this method.

    Viewers will be able to submit up to 10 votes per contestant per valid Facebook account per Voting Show.

    The vote limit for SuperVote® Online will be calculated separately from any votes you submit using SuperVote® on the FOX NOW® App.

    (2) SuperVote® on the FOX NOW® App;

    SuperVote® on the FOX NOW® App: You can download and vote with the FOX NOW® App if you have a compatible iOS or Android device, either a tablet or handheld.

    Follow the voting instructions found within the App. Simply select the ‘VOTE’ button within the American Idol section of the App and then click ‘proceed’.

    You can submit up to 10 votes per contestant per originating device per Voting Show (meaning you can submit 10 votes per contestant on your phone and then also submit 10 votes per contestant from your tablet). The vote limit for SuperVote® on the FOX NOW® App will be calculated separately from any votes you submit using SuperVote® Online at www.americanidol.com/vote.

    (3) Google Search Voting;

    Google Search Voting: You can use Google Search if you have a valid Google account.

    Go to Google and search “American Idol Vote” or “Idol Vote.” This search will prompt the Google Voting Module to appear with the images of the contestant.

    To be able to submit vote(s), you must be logged in to the module with a valid Google account.

    You'll have to create a Google account if you don't already have one. To vote you may select the contestant(s) you wish to vote for and submit no more than 10 votes per contestant per Google account ID per Voting Show.

    (4) Text Vote (SMS)

    Text Voting: Each contestants will be assigned a text message “keyword” number which will appear on screen during the Voting Show each week alongside the short code 21523.

    Text Voting for AMERICAN IDOL XV is open to all participating wireless cell phone service providers.

    Customers of participating wireless service providers may text the keyword number relating to the contestant of choice, and send it to the 5 digit short code 21523 (for MacKenzie, text 7 to 21523).

    Text Voting is limited to 10 votes per contestant per originating phone number, per Voting Show.

    (5) Toll-free Voting

    Toll-free Voting: When voting begins for all the contestants, they will each be assigned a toll-free number during the Voting Show each week. To vote, just watch and dial the toll-free telephone number of the contestant(s) you want to vote for.  MacKenzie's toll-free number is (866) 436-5707.

    Toll-free Voting is limited to 10 votes per contestant per originating phone number, per Voting Show. Any votes above 10 per contestant will not count even though you will continue to hear the ‘thanks for voting’ message.
