How Much Should You Pay A Babysitter?

Care.com conducted a survey to find how much a good babysitter should make in 2015.  It is way beyond minimum wage.

The website found that the average babysitter gets $13.50 an hour.  Five years ago, that number was $10.50.

It was also revealed that 26% of people give their babysitter a tip.  The tip is extra of course.

Over 85% of parents said if their babysitter wanted a raise, they would give her one.  And 20% of people who use babysitters say they would steal a good babysitter from a friend.

But the one thing that mattered most to the people in the survey is how much their kids like a babysitter (49%).  Only about 3% said how much she charges mattered.
