It drives me crazy to see someone order a steak well done. That's obviously a figurative term. There's evidence to suggest eating steak well done (what I call ruined) contributes to the onset of dementia. Sciencealert.com reports, research conducted at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai indicates cooking steak 'til it's "well done" produces glycotoxins. These advanced food toxins are also believed to accelerate the overall aging process. Besides, a well done steak is just an expensive (and tough) hamburger.
