Over the years since it was created, Hospice of Acadiana’s labyrinth fell into disrepair. Fortunately, Unitech Training Academy of Lafayette decided it was time to refurbish it. The Labyrinth, according to Hospice of Acadiana, is a “meditative walking path open and available to the public for use at any time. Guided walks are also offered throughout the year to help individuals reach a place of healing and wholeness.”

The project took several days, including some of our recent heavy rain days, and fifty man-hours to complete. It required sandblasting, repairing, and resurfacing work. Thirty-two Unitech students and faculty helped make it happen. The materials required were donated by Doug Ashy.

Aren't we lucky to live in a place where people care so much?!
