Homemade ice cream in 5 minutes, no way...yes way!  And it's so easy!  As the temperature starts to rise, here's a simple, quick way to have tasty homemade ice cream in minutes.

Here's what you'll need:

1 Small Ziplock bag

1 Large Ziplock bag

1/2 Cup half and half or milk

1/2 Cup salt

1 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp vanilla

1 Small amount of ice


In a small Ziplock bag, combine half and half (or milk), sugar and vanilla.  Put the sealed small Ziplock bag with contents into the large Ziplock bag.  Fill the large Ziplock bag with ice and salt and seal.

Shake for 5 minutes.  Remove the smaller bag from the larger bag and eat!
