If you bought them for the holidays, odds are they're not still in your pantry, but if they are, get rid of Holiday White Peppermint Twinkies as they are being voluntarily recalled. Hostess Brands says there's a potential Salmonella risk. Apparently, the sweet outside coating contains milk powder ingredients that are involved in Valley Milk Products' recall. Hostess says their products have not tested positive for Salmonella and no one has reported any illness. If you still have some, don't eat them, and return them to the store to get your money back. Details from the FDA here.
