History Channel Show features Gator Queen from Pecan Island, Louisiana

The History Channel hit show Swamp People is adding a new cast member this season. Her name is Liz Cavalier, she's from Pecan Island and they're calling her the Swamp Queen.  Vermilion Today says the folks from the History Channel were down in Pierre Part, where the show's star, Troy Landry, lives, looking for a female gator hunter.  Liz's name kept coming up, so they interviewed her, liked what they saw, and invited her to join the cast. Liz makes her debut on the episode called "First Mates" Thursday night.
