There's been mudslinging, lying, and other nastiness during the 2016 race for the White House.

There hadn't been any literal barking, though.

Until now.

During a campaign rally, expected Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton referred to a political ad from Arkansas that suggested training dogs to bark when politicians aren't telling the truth, and then said 'I'm trying to figure out how we can do that with Republicans...You know. We need to get that dog and follow them around and every time they say these things, like, 'Oh, the great recession was caused by too much regulation' -- arf, arf, arf, arf!'

While some of Clinton's followers liked the joke and started barking at the rally, the Internet had other ideas.
