Summer has come to South Louisiana. Afternoon highs are hitting the 90's. Temperatures inside your car can easily reach 110, even 120 degrees. If you're in and put of your car all day, this can make life miserable. The process of cooling your car is a transfer of heat. No matter how hot it is outside, it's hotter inside your car. Rolling your windows down will quickly release a lot of heat. If your key fob has a button that rolls your windows down, hit it as soon as you walk out the front door.  Start the car & turn the A/C up full blast, then start driving. Roll your windows up slowly, one by one, driver's window last. Leave it cracked 1-1/2 to 2 inches 'til you feel cool air on the back of your neck. You'll be surprised how quickly the temperature drops inside the car.
