The Lafayette Fire Department is

“Fired Up” to help MDA!

April 17, 2013 – Lafayette Fire Fighters will participate in a fundraiser called “Fill the Boot” Saturday, April 20th to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This Fire Department will be located at intersections throughout the Lafayette area with their boots so that motorists may give their dollars and change to help the fire fighters in their support of MDA.

MDA helps children and adults who are affected by any of 40 neuromuscular diseases covered by MDA’s comprehensive medical services and research programs. MDA receives no government funding and charges no fees to those served by the association. Please take a moment to drop some cash into a boot when you see your area fire fighters out on the streets! Other fire departments have already participated in fundraising with MDA as well. Thank you to the all participating fire departments for your soulful commitment.
