Help Find Summer Benton

Lafayette Sheriff's Deputies are asking for assistance in locating a missing Lafayette woman, Summer Benton.

Benton is is 42 years old, 5'6", 140 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes. Benton has the word "shane" tattooed on her ankle and "catfish" on her side. She was last seen driving a light gold 1996 Mercedes Benz S320, license plate XUC400. If you know where she is call 337-232-9211.

Benton was last heard from on April 26th. Family members report that she has disappeared before, but that there was no indication she was going to flee this time. Benton's family became concerned when she missed her child's birthday party, which they say she would not have done.
