Help Faith House This Holiday Season

There's a sad truth about the holiday season. It's also a peak season for domestic violence. Faith House of Acadiana provides shelter and advocacy for women & children who are survivors of abuse. The need for their services increases dramatically this time of year. You can help. Some items in need are Trash Bags 40+ gallon, Paper Towels, Spray Lysol, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Floor Cleaner, Twin Sheets, Pillows, Twin comforters, and Hoodie Sweatshirts – all sizes, boys, girls & adults. Other donations are always welcome. Got an old, deactivated mobile phone? It can still call 911. Toiletries, diapers, paper plates, cups, and clothing items are always needed, especially new underwear & socks. Donations can be dropped off at Bridge Storage on Ambassador Caffery, Mon. & Wed., from 9-3.
