Hell Is Other People

No, I don't hate people. Really. I just wanted to get your attention.

"Hell Is Other People" is the name of a new app that uses Foursquare check-ins to tell you where to go to avoid running into anyone you know.

The app's developer, Scott Garner, admits that while he does in fact struggle with social anxiety, the app is really just his way of mocking social media, which he hates.

"I had to sign up for a social media site and had to talk to people to get them to be my friends on that site, just so I could avoid them," Garner says in a video showcasing how the app works.
