The new movie "Noah", starring Russell Crowe has come under fire from the Catholic Church, for reportedly not being literal enough in its representation of the Biblical tale. Desert News reports the Vatican has cancelled a Wednesday meeting in which it was anticipated Pope Francis would lend his blessing to the $125 million dollar production.

HBO's Bill Maher has blasted the movie for entirely different reasons, saying the story is preposterous to begin with. His rant goes on, referring to God as a psychopath, and a mass murderer.
