"America's Great Motorcycle Company" has survived a depression, oil crises, foreign competition and a buyout by a company best known for making bowling pins & basketballs. The people at Harley Davidson aren't living in the past. The company has its eyes to the future. NBC reports, they've announced plans to debut an electric motorcycle. We all recognize the throaty rumble of a Harley. The new electric bike sounds more like a jet engine. The Livewire will be unveiled at an invitation only event in New York. Several dozen riders will embark on a 30 city tour. How will the new Livewire be received? Time will tell.
