I drove by Copperfield subdivision in Youngsville on my way home from work last night, and the fields at the entrances were loaded with parked cars.

That leads me to ask: what in tarnation is going on in there? Why so many cars? Are they handing out NuNu's boudin instead of candy?

I reached out to a friend who lives in the Copperfield subdivision, and this is what she told me:

There is a policeman that controls the vehicles coming into the subdivision, keeping out any vehicular traffic without an address in the neighborhood, but allowing in foot traffic.  It's like a big block party. - Copperfield resident

I spoke with a resident of River Ranch today, and she told me that there are people participating in Halloween in her neighborhood who are very obviously over the age of 21, collecting candy along with the children.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't we stay in our own neighborhoods when we were kids to trick-or-treat?

Do you live in Copperfield? What are your thoughts on your Halloween night?
