Guys (Including Me) Make Dating Mistakes. Girls Do, Too

I’ll admit, I’ve committed more than one dating faux paus over the years. If you’ve ever been on a date with a guy who talked incessantly about an “ex”, I’ll bet it totally turned you off. It doesn’t matter which sex you are, I suspect that one’s universal. Guys who start making long range plans too soon are probably a little scary for you. I’ve been hit with that kind of thing, too. Am I an “expert”? Absolutely not! Nor am I trying to be a “Spokesman” for other men.  A survey by WhatsYourPrice.com, found the seven worst dating mistakes women make.

“A common misconception amongst women is assuming that since they already received an offer for a date then the job is done, When in reality, going on the date is barely a quarter of the battle.”    – Brandon Wade, CEO of WhatsYourPrice.com

1. Airing out dirty laundry aka the ex-boyfriend.

2. Making it too easy.

3. Laziness, not promoting themselves

4. Giving out too much information.

5. Settling to get a relationship.

6. Broaching the subject of sex too soon.

7. Jumping the gun talking about marriage and children.

We all want validation & approval, myself included. That can sometimes lead to the most unfortunate mistake of all, putting too much of a “best foot forward“.
