Tinder's supposed to be a dating app, right? There's apparently a growing trend among women to use it for finding free handyman services. Fiona Bloom is a 20 year veteran of the New York singles scene. She used Tinder to find a guy to install an air conditioner. Bloom swiped right on a guy whose profile picture showed him in coveralls, holding a hammer. Bloom admits she didn't find him attractive, and blew him off after the job was done.

I won't be looking her up on my next visit to "The BIg Apple." The New York Post reports, the practice is becoming increasingly commonplace. Marni Kinrys writes an L.A. based singles blog & sees nothing wrong with the practice. Dating coach Evan Marc Katz disagrees, saying, “It just seems so transparently selfish. It’s equivalent to the guy who has sex with a stranger and never calls her again.”
