Google has been our dictionary, encyclopedia, and basically where we go to daily for answers to just about anything that sparks our curiosity.

Every year, Google puts out their 'Year In Search,' revealing the top trending general searches of the year. 2015 had it all—from movies to athletes. According to Time,

these queries had the highest spike in traffic over a sustained period of time during 2015 as compared to 2014

Take a look at the list of the top trending searches of 2015:

1. Lamar Odom
2. Jurassic World
3. American Sniper
4. Caitlyn Jenner
5. Ronda Rousey
6. Paris
7. Agario
8. Chris Kyle
9. Fallout 4
10. Straight Outta Compton

In addition to the overall most searched terms, real estate company, Estately, revealed the most Googled terms by state, and the list is nothing short of incredible. Louisiana residents hit the Google looking for the list of names exposed in the Ashley Madison hack.

As juicy as a list containing the names of people who signed on to a website marketed to cheating while in a committed relationship may sound, it wasn't enough to top the one thing that Louisianians searched for the most: Blue Bell Ice Cream.
