Gas Prices, In Perspective
Gallon To Gallon
No one likes to think about paying $4 for a gallon of gas (in some places, it has hit $4!!!) , but it could be a lot worse! Just think of how much trouble we’d be in if we had to fill the tank with Starbucks’ lattes or nail polish! Bitsandpieces.us offers a comparison list of other things that you pay a ton of money for by the gallon but may not realize it. The list puts $4 for a gallon of gas into perspective, but most people won’t go through a gallon of nail polish as fast as a gallon of gas. Here are some examples:
| Clorox Bleach | $2.56 a gallon | ||
| Coke | $3.84 a gallon | ||
| Fiji Water | $10.24 a gallon | ||
| Charles Swaw Wine | $10.24 a gallon | ||
| Yogurt | $12.80 a gallon | ||
| Tide Detergent | $19.20 a gallon | ||
| Karo Corn Syrup | $25.52 a gallon | ||
| Purell Hand Sanitizer | $25.60 a gallon |
| Shampoo (Average) | $25.60 a gallon |
| Red Bull | $28.16 a gallon |
| Grande Latte from Starbucks | $32.00 a gallon |
| Our Family Honey Fancy Bear | $40.96 a gallon |
| Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil | $60.16 a gallon |
| Robitussen | $128.00 a gallon |
| Dom Perignon | $755.20 a gallon |
| Nail Polish | $1,024 a gallon |
Now, I don’t know about you, but I was wondering when someone was going to design an engine that runs off of South Louisiana Rain Water…. Heaven knows we get enough of that stuff, FREE!!
