Fun Things to Do in Lafayette This Weekend

Festival International de Louisiane is the "largest free Francophone music-focused festival in North America, and is, simply put, one of the best festivals in the world," according to About.com, and it's on in Lafayette all weekend long! But there's lots more to do and see if you want to get out of the city this weekend...

There's the Etouffee Festival in Arnaudville, on the grounds of St. John Francis Regis Church, offers great local music, like Nik-L-Beer, Wayne Toups and Chubby Carrier, plus Etouffee everywhere and every way- Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

The World Famous Liberty Theater in Eunice presents 'Rendez-vous des Cajuns' on Saturday nights at 6pm.

Sunday, the Acadia Players present a matinee performance of 'Kingfish' at 2pm at the Grand Opera House of the South.
