Former Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle Gets 15 Year Sentence

Have you ever had your picture taken with a convicted sex offender? I have, unfortunately. Jared Fogle visited Townsquare Media a few years ago. Everybody was clamoring to have a picture with him, myself included. His story WAS a great one. The former Subway pitchman lost over 200 pounds and parlayed it into a 15 year advertising the sandwich chain. It made him a celebrity ,and inspirational figure. Now, he's infamous. Fogle was investigated for allegedly receiving child pornography and having sex with minors in early 2015. He pleaded guilty in August. CNN reports, he's been sentenced to 15 years, 8 months in federal prison. Fogle's attorneys argued he should receiver a light sentenced because the young girls involved were 16 & 17 years old, as opposed to being much younger. He must also pay more than a million dollars in restitution.
