US Army first sergeant Albert Marle was traveling from Portland, Oregon to Charlotte, NC on Thursday. Sgt. Marle is heavily decorated, and was wearing a dress uniform. Upon boarding a US Airways flight, he asked a flight attendant if he could hang his jacket to keep it from being wrinkled. Fox News reports, she refused, stating the service is available only to passengers in first class. At least one passenger offered to trade places with Sgt. Marle, so he could hang his jacket. The flight attendant refused, saying it's a violation of company policy. The story has gone viral in social media. The Airline issued an apology on Friday, accompanied by the following statement:  "We have a long and proud history of serving our military members and hold the men and women who serve our country in the highest regard,"
