Fans Turn Out in Big Numbers as UL Softball Advances

Congratulations to the UL Softball Team and to their fans! The team will travel for the 'Super Regional' this coming weekend after defeating Mississippi Valley State and Stanford in the Regional Tournament here in Lafayette. Attendance at Lamson Park totaled 14,097 fans - the next closest tournament attendance was Alabama with 12,393 fans. (The Ragin' Cajuns beat the SEC in fan support!) The team travels to Tempe to take on Arizona in the 'Super regional' this weekend. The first game is at 9 PM on Thursday, with the second on Friday at 8 PM. LSU also advanced.
