Famed Las Vegas Hotel Comes Down After Implosion [VIDEO]

What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas as one of the oldest and famed hotels on the strip was imploded this morning. The tallest tower of the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas came down in front of thousands of spectators. Fireworks heralded the demolition of the hotel, because... Las Vegas. The event was televised and became more of an attraction for tourists and Las Vegas residents alike.

The 26 acre complex, which has been an icon since 1955, will be re-developed with a new, modern resort taking it's place along the Las Vegas Strip.
