I was scrolling through Facebook while having my Saturday morning coffee when I spotted a link to a story from the celebrity gossip site, TMZ. The headline read, "Casey Kasem Rotting In Norway."  The story reported the body of the radio legend is decomposing in a Norwegian mortuary while his children wage a legal battle to have his remains returned to the US. A very public battle has been waged between Kasem's children and his widow, Jean since before his death in June. A number of Facebook users expressed their distaste in no uncertain terms.  Comments included, "That's an awful headline, even for TMZ.", "Rotting? Seriously? Nice wording...NOT!", "please GO AWAY WITH THIS DAMN RECIPE", "Way to disrespect this icon TMZ!! Especially worded with such deplorable disrespect. gtf off of whatever it is you ARE on."

Another individual expressed a different view. Jasyn said, "Umm that's what happens u die Your body rots away, duh! Unless you burn your body into ash. Up next water is wet and fire is hot" I realize the punctuation & spelling aren't necessarily correct. I've reproduced the quotes as they appeared on Facebook. What's your opinion? Journalism, or bad taste?
