Facebook Offers ‘See Translation’ For Southern Comment

I changed my profile picture on Facebook to a shot that was taken of Shannon and me over the weekend, and someone commented with "Hi y'all!".

Shannon and I went to Alexandria for a Gender Reveal Party, and this is one of the candid shots that was taken at the event.  Several people commented on the photo, including our friend Barbara.  We haven't seen her in a while, so she commented "Hi y'al!".  Facebook offered a translation for the phrase "Hi y'all", but when I clicked it, it no translation showed up.  How does Facebook not know "y'all"?
