Hop on over to United Blood Services this Friday, April 18 for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt begins at 10 a.m., so be sure to show up a little before then. Two lucky kids will go home with a Golden Egg and a special prize! The St. Jules Knights of Columbus is sponsoring the event.
Also, all donors at the Lafayette Donor Center on Friday, April 18 will be entered in drawing for a special Easter Basket. Donor Room hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger, and donors who are 16 years of age must have signed permission from a parent or guardian. Donors receive a free cholesterol test.
