Sunset JAM is a Jambalaya of Art and Music. It is a grassroots effort by Sunset area merchants, artists, and musicians to allow locals and visitors from other areas to participate in and enjoy our growing art community. It provides a gathering place for the many talented artists and musicians who live and work in our area.
The second Saturday of each month, enjoy the sounds of local musicians - including a traditional Cajun/Creole back porch-style jam session. Visit with and shop local artists and crafters, both outdoors and in local stores and galleries, in a casual “street market” environment. The outdoor space with music and art will be on Sibille Street just off Napoleon Avenue. Shops, galleries, and restaurants in the area will be open.
Sunset JAM is a free cultural event located along the Corridor des Art. The JAM will take place (weather permitting) on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
