St. Martin Council on Aging 1st Annual S.O.S. “Support Our Seniors” Walkathon

The St. Martin Council on Aging would like to invite you to the inaugural S.O.S. "Support Our Seniors" Walkathon planned for March 18, 2017 in Breaux Bridge at Park Hardy. The Walkathon is open to ages 13 and up. There will be three categories: ambulatory (those who can walk without assistance), those in wheelchairs, and those who use walkers or canes. All walkers will receive a free t-shirt. There will be musical entertainment by Geno Delafosse, area social service agencies will provide blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes checks, and there will be fun activities for children. All the contributions made to help local seniors continue to receive the much needed assistance provided to them by the St. Martin Council on Aging, Inc. Remember, if everyone does a little, it equals a lot, and together everyone achieves more. Thank you in advance!
