Lung cancer takes more lives in Louisiana every year than any other cancer. Lafayette-area residents can join the movement to double lung cancer survival by 2022 at the Free to Breathe 5k run/walk and one mile walk on September 28. Proceeds benefit the National Lung Cancer Partnership, a non-profit organization made up of leading doctors, researchers, patient advocates, and lung cancer survivors.
