Join Vermilionville for an Old-Time Christmas Celebration

The community is invited to get into the holiday spirit with a Christmas celebration for the whole family on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 from 10 am. – 4 pm. at Vermilionville. There will be plenty of activities to keep the children busy including hands-on gingerbread cookie decorating, a bousillage ornament workshop, Christmas caroling in the village, a Christmas themed story-time with authors Andy Hebert and Vicky Branton, a children’s music performance by Henry Hample and Friends as well as a village art project where visitor will decorate a wishing stick to help decorate the village.
Visitors will also get a chance to take a self-guided Old Time Christmas tour and see some of the traditions from the 1700′s and 1800′s.

Gingerbread Cookie Decorating ($1) - 10:30 am. – 11:15 am.
Christmas story-time with Andy Hebert and Vicky Branton - 12 pm. – 1 pm.
Children’s performance with Henry Hample and Friends - 1 pm. – 3:30 pm.
