Dearest Potential Iberia Habitat Donor and Indirect Spreader of World Peace,

Greetings from THE BERRY QUEENS and Iberia Habitat for Humanity! We are gearing up for our 10th O-fficial Berry Queens’ Ball and Pageant event which will be held at Cypress Bayou Casino on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This, our third year at Cypress Bayou Casino, should prove to be a totally tubular event. Last year, we had over 600 people at our event and this year, we hope to break the 700 mark!!!!!

Last year, with the help of our sponsors and membership, we were able to raise over $40,000.00 to help us purchase our Iberia Street house and Providence Street lot. This will allow more partner families to own their own homes with little down and no interest. Our overhead is very low, so every dollar you give to our organization goes toward our mission of offering no interest home ownership to those who are willing to do much of their own sweat equity and who do not qualify for traditional home loans. We are, for many of them, their one shot at gaining part of The American Dream through home ownership.

We believe in the work we do at Iberia Habitat and believe that giving people a hand up is the first step towards their independence and allows them to set about giving back in a “pay it back way” that we feel is beneficial to everyone in our community. With this in mind, we are
asking some of our community leaders and members to help us by sponsoring our event this year in any way they can to help us with some of our expenses. I have included a sheet with our “Tiers of Sponsorship” for you to look over. If you can see fit to help us in any way
possible, you will be forever LUV-ed by our Queenly Membership and listed as a sponsor in our program.
