2nd Annual 5K Boot Camp Bash

The D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana is hosting the 2nd Annual 5K Boot Camp Bash on Saturday, October 24th starting at the ULL Welcome Center.

The event is a 5K run that has 12 circuit training stations along the route. They have also incorporated children with special needs as 'Drill Sergeants' with water guns cheering on the runners as they move from station to station!

The un-timed race is open to ages 13 and up and all levels of fitness.

The fundraising event will help build funds for Unity Village Community, a community for individuals with special needs. This community will provide individuals with special needs with the freedom they deserve and long for and will give the parents the peace of mind that their children will be safe and taken care of in the event that the inevitable was to occur.

You can run as an individual runner, partner up with a friend, or make a whole team! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Biggest Team, Best Team Name, Best Team T-Shirt as well as Most Money Raised.

Registration will begin at 8:30am and the race will begin at 10am. There will be food, drinks, music and fun after the race until 1pm.
