LOPA Run for Their Lives

LOPA (Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency) and Casa Ole’ have an exciting announcement! This year’s Run for THEIR Lives will be hosted at Casa Ole’ in Opelousas. Casa Ole’ is located at 5620 I-49 Road North and Creswell Lane Opelousas, LA. The 11th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8am. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for male and female overall and 1st place winners for male and female Masters. Team participation is encouraged. Individual participants and teams can register online at www.lopa.org.
Every year, Run for THEIR Lives honors organ and tissue donors and their families and celebrates with recipients who have received the Gift of Life. With over 1,800 people in Louisiana waiting on a life saving organ transplant, LOPA’s mission is simple – help save lives through organ and tissue donation.
Pre-registration entry fee is $25.00 until March 31st. The cost of event day registration is $30.00. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a Casa Ole’ Calienté 5K Run for THEIR Lives t-shirt. For more information, visit www.lopa.org.
