Epic American Idol Performances – Debbie Ray’s Picks

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of 'American Idol.' I started watching it the very first season, during the open auditions, and quickly gave up on it. Too bad, too sad, too mean. Then I tuned in one night and they were down to the Top 10 or 12 contestants and they were performing Big Band songs. Decided to watch that episode and picked Kelly Clarkson as the winner that very night. Got hooked, and here we are, 11 seasons later and I'm still watching. After our Louisiana favorite, Joshua Ledet's phenomenal performance of 'When a Man Loves a Woman,' I got to thinking about some of the performances that really moved me. I'm talking about the ones that gave me "goosies," as Jennifer Lopez would say. I'm going to go so far as to call them 'Epic American Idol Performances.' Here's my list- what's on yours?
