UPDATE – St. Etienne Road Reopened After Dump Truck Fire In Broussard

Update: St. Etienne Road was closed for hours on Thursday.

A utilities company is working to de-energize a Broussard power line on St. Etienne Road after a dump truck ran into it, causing fire.

According to KATC:

Chief Brannon Decou said there are no injuries and the power company is working on deenergizing the line to allow fire fighters to extinguish the fire.
