Some Who Dats are feeling vindicated by a federal appeals court upholding Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's ''Deflate Gate" suspension. Drew Brees isn't one of them. The Saints quarterback has long been an outspoken critic of commissioner Roger Goodell. Brees, during an interview on the Dan Patrick Show, said the commissioner has too much power, and called his power to  "serve as judge, jury, and executioner" a black eye to the league. He added, "We've been witness to this down in New Orleans firsthand."

Brees served on the NFLPA's  executive committee for several years. ESPNgo.com reports, he seized the opportunity to express his belief that the 2012 investigation of the Saints was fueled by the fact that the league was facing hundreds of lawsuits from former players over health and safety issues.
