It should come as no surprise that weight loss products and programs are a multi-billion dollar industry in the US. Where there's money to be made, there will be scams. Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of the popular "Dr. Oz Show" has come under fire for promoting weight loss products that, in his own words, "don't have scientific muster."
CNN reports, Dr. Oz was grilled by a senate panel for promoting products whose effectiveness hasn't been proven, and using words like "miracle" to describe them. He has espoused the benefits of products like green coffee, and Garcinia cambogia on his TV show. The popular celebrity doctor was clearly feeling the heat in this video...
