The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is reporting the following lane closures, road closures and construction zones that may affect your daily commute in and around Acadiana, and through the Interstate 10 corridor.

 Interstate 10 Eastbound/Westbound

Between La. 415 and the W. Baton Rouge Parish line

East: Mon., Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. thru Thurs., Sept. 24.

West: Fri., Sept. 25 6:30 p.m. thru Mon. Sept. 28

Heavy delays are expected due to nightly lane closures scheduled for asphalt roadway repairs. No permit loads will be allowed to pass.

Interstate 10 Eastbound

Between La. 415 and the West Baton Rouge Parish line

Mon., Sept. 25 6:30 p.m. thru Mon., Sept. 28 6:30 a.m.

The right lane of the interstate will be closed for repairs. Heavy delays are to be expected.

Interstate 10 Westbound

Between Iberville Parish line and Atchafalaya Bridge

Mon., Sept 21 thru Fri., Sept 25-- 10 p.m. through 6 a.m.

Expect nightly single-lane closures for crews to repair roadway surfaces.

Queensbury Drive @ Failla Road

Mon., Sept 21 through Mon. Oct. 12

The intersection will be closed for sewer infrastructure construction.

La. Hwy. 365 in Acadia Parish

Between La. 13 and La. 35

Wed., Sept. 23 through Novermber -- 6:30 am.-6:30 p.m.

The highway will be reduced to one lane during daylight hours for road construction. Both lanes will be opened at night and on weekends.

Please drive cautiously in these areas. Obey construction zone speed limits, and be mindful of work crews.
