The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that beginning Wednesday, January 15, until Friday, January 17, one lane of Highway 90 westbound will be closed.

The inside lane of U.S. 90 will be closed in the westbound direction to allow crews to continue construction work related to the U.S. 90 Frontage Road project. The closure will be located from between La. 85 and Darnall Road and will take place from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The $5.8 million U.S. 90 Frontage Roads project involves constructing new frontage roads along U.S. 90 between John Darnell Road and La. 85. Work on the project began in August 2012 and is estimated for completion in March 2014.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
