DOTD announces intermittent lane closures on I-10 for sweeping

HENDERSON, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that there will be intermittent lane closures on the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from Friday, May 17, to Saturday, May 18, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., for a sweeping operation.

The intermittent lane closures will take place on I-10 in the east and westbound directions from two-miles east of Exit 115 (Cecilia/Henderson) to Exit 135 (Ramah), weather permitting.

This closure has no vehicle restrictions. Emergency vehicles have access to the area.  No detour is necessary for this work.
