Don’t Freak Out But The Polyester Power Hour Party Is Tonight

Nile Rogers, the guitarist in Chic, famously said that this song was written in response to the long lines and rude bouncers at New York City's famous Studio 54. The original line in the song was not freak out, but, to be polite, a different phrase expressing anger and exasperation. The song is actually titled 'Le Freak.'
