Do You Use Facebook To Keep Tabs On Your Kids?

Have you friended your kids on Facebook? Most kids worry that a friend request from Mom or Dad means they’re going to stalk their every move. They're usually right! Research indicates more than 90% of parents who use Facebook are friends with their kids.  Half of all parents on the site say they joined specifically to keep tabs on their kids.  More than 40% of parents check their kids’ Facebook page daily.Status updates are the items of greatest interest. Posts by others come in second, followed by tagged items.

Teens are more likely than 20-somethings to friend their parents. Nearly one third of teens is embarrassed by posts from Mom or Dad. Nearly one third would unfriend their parents if they didn't fear repercussions. Are you Facebook Friends with your kids?
