Do You Like It With The Red Bowl? [PICS]

Do you like it with the red bowl or without?  This corner bothers me.

When my mother passed away I inherited the table you see here.  I really had no other place in the house to put it but here.  I don't mind the table, but I've never really liked this corner for some reason and I think it may be the red bowl.
